Proofing
We will match as closely as possible your proof or print that you send or bring in to us by maintaining color profiling giving reasonable allowances for media output types, subtle density shifts in our ink, and customer color profiling output from their computer and monitor.
Depending upon the customers needs there may be those that require prints to look good and the color reasonable, others may require critical fine art reproduction wanting the print to exactly match the original work or transparency. We strive to work with each customer with this proofing process. We will do one small proof print which is typically 8 x 10 for larger output final prints (i.e. 30 x 40) and 5 x 7 proof prints for smaller final output prints and any initial minor color correction that may be needed. Proof prints will be reviewed by the customer for any changes that may be required. Usually one proof and subsequent color correction are all that is needed to satisfy most customers. If you have further changes, you can order additional proof prints at $10 each until you are satisfied with the results.
The proofing process is generally 5-10 days depending on peak times. Once color approval is received it takes approximately 7-10 to complete your prints.
Approved proof prints and digital files are then archived with us for reprints.
